At Church & State Wines, we believe in handcrafte
The term “Church and State” stands for “freedom of belief.” In relation to Church and State Wines, we have adapted this message to signify that our wines “speak for themselves.” We want to leave the appraisal, value, and judgment in the hands of our customers, and therefore, make every effort to create the highest quality and most outstanding wines possible.
By focusing on the unique terroir of each vineyard, we hope to bring to life the full potential of Canadian viticulture and winemaking.
Originally established on Vancouver Island in 2004, Church & State Wines has expanded to include 80+ acres of property in the Oliver-Osoyoos corridor in the Okanagan Valley. The latest addition to our property was the Coyote Bowl Vineyard in 2011.
Church & State produces 100% BC VQA wines. Every wine we produce has been grown in our own estate vineyards and nurtured under the strict eyes of our Vineyard staff and Winemaker, Arnaud Thierry. We do not source grapes from anywhere else.
Church and State Wines Oliver is the perfect place to experience the best of what the Okanagan has to offer. Sit back, relax, and take in the stunning panoramic view of our 85-acre vineyard, while sipping some of the best wines BC has to offer. With an emphasis on barrel select, premium wines, Church and State Wines Oliver is sure to be your favourite Wine Country stop.
Perched on the edge of the infamous Coyote Bowl in the Oliver-Osoyoos wine region in the Okanagan Valley, our modern, minimalist tasting bar features daily samples of some of Canada’s best wines. Enjoy a tasting inside looking into the barrel room or a flight on the patio looking across to the Golden Mile. Coyote Bowl is the perfect place to unwind for an afternoon of wine tasting and relaxing with our friendly wine experts in one of Okanagan’s most unique tasting bars.
